bigtallgoof is drinking a High Street by Black Bellows Brewing at The Gaybourhood
That’s a British pub in a can! The good kind of musty, grassy bitter tempered by creamy nitro, orange pekoe, caramel & bran. Need to go back to Collingwood to try this fresh through a nitro line or (hopefully) hand pumped one day. Silky. Super impressed.

bigtallgoof is drinking a Lee River Blackberry Vanilla by Something In The Water Brewing Co. at The Gaybourhood
Nice balance of tart, creamy & sweet fruitiness. Vanilla & blackberry are super tasty together. Nice overall balance. So nice to have this new brewery in my work Neighbourhood.

Dry and earthy. Field berries, peppercorn, bocconcini brine, lime zest/pith & lemongrass. Pairs great with the burger & pickled daikon root.

bigtallgoof is drinking a Schlossbier by Black Bellows Brewing at The Gaybourhood
A pretty nice even-tempered dunkel. Toasted walnuts/chestnuts, rye toast, spruce tips, clover flower & buckwheat. Leaning a bit toward a brown ale with its bitter & nutty characteristics - which I don’t mind at all.

Lots of apple (honey crisp & granny smith) character. Oak, fleshy green grapes, bing cherry, apple cider vinegar, peach & stewed pear. Tons of floral yeasty esters. This is a really fun, unique beer with oodles of character.
