Puckering. I think going too sour completely loses all the fun stuff their trying to do with the wine, gin & zest. They’re all there in the background but it’s a hard fight through apple/lemon tartness.

Pretty nice, big-time roasted brew. Perhaps a little too much bitter coming off the coffee which fights with the bourbon for attention. Overall maybe just a bit too many burnt flavours going on. Still tasty.

Convincingly Belgian. Bubblegum yeast & caramel malt. Really nice head retention & chewiness I’m digging. Sarsaparilla, buckwheat honey, campfire, oregano & clover.

Rich and decadent. Marshmallow & graham crackers jump out the most & compliment the base beer/bourbon barrel nicely. I little cherry twang to the two beers I’ve had in this series that makes me worry a little about something gone wrong (chlorophenol?).
