Jan Biega is drinking a Shine On Hazy IPA by Hoyne Brewing
Tasty, balanced, and satisfying blend of Idaho 7, Citra, Mosaic, and Talus hops. The bitterness is basically muted and any pithy or pungent notes stamped out - both a plus and minus. Slight toffee, bready notes on the malt that fit nicely. Not too shabby!

A Starburst-like hop profile with juicy flavours of grapefruit, guava, and other tropical fruits. Notably refreshing for its strength, and despite a little bite of bitterness in the finish. Really pleased with this purchase - tasty and quenching.

The tropical flavours make themselves immediately known - guava, pineapple, even green mango make a splash. There’s some weedy bitterness too, as well as a little alcohol, but overall I’d say more than decent and excellent value.

Raw, concentrated hop aroma right on cracking the can, like opening a bag of hop pellets! Taste is resinous and pungent but candied grapefruit coated. There’s too much honeycomb toffee flavour in the malt for my liking in a beer like this but overall good

Personally, I wish the brewers had left out the lactose and coconut - the sweetness detracts from the roasted malts and bitter hops. The beer is smooth and tasty enough with its fruity cocoa nib and coffee flavours; it doesn’t drink its true strength.
