Colin Haze: Been there. ☹️
Scott is drinking a Bounteous by Moksa Brewing Co at Toronado
Been meaning to get around to this one for a minute. Nose is mostly vanilla and chocolate, with a bit of a sweet, funky edge. Body is fudgy but not overwhelming. Flavor is vanilla icing, fairly restrained coconut, modest barrel, and savory, funky maple.

This is also bad.
Scott is drinking a Care Package by Temescal Brewing at The Backyard
This is somewhat old but not old enough to explain how bad it is. Super mealy, mop water mid-palate and finish. The sacrifices you make to hang out with friends instead of just drinking the best beer possible at home.
Scott is drinking a Pliny the Elder by Russian River Brewing Company at Raymond’s Pizzeria
Vibe is off being here on a Thursday, but the wife has tomorrow off and asked for pizza, and I'm not going to complain.
Scott is drinking a Creek Park by Wondrous Brewing Company at Wondrous Brewing Company
Predictably fire. Between my last check-in of this and now, this has risen to become my favorite IPA brewed in the Bay Area by a significant margin. Dry, crisp, and drinkable, but still well-structured and substantial. Beautiful balance of white grape...
Scott: ...grapefruit, and that sticky icky goodness. Always a good day when a new batch of Creek Park drops.
Scott: A well-constructed and somewhat complex beer, but overly sweet and a bit lacking in barrel presence. Cool to try given the local hype, but underwhelming.
