woody/zesty on the finish. Needs something to round it out or some omissions. Peacharine or Motueka are obvs options but something American might work well. Fruity Simcoe? Alcohol isn’t super well hidden.

For the style, which I’m often critical of, this is dumb good. Their high abv hops are dirty and usually messy but here the purée rounds things out really nicely and I can still tell I’m drinking a 🌲 🏠 IPA. Dunno how to improve it

Not for me. Way too sweet. Pretty similar to Haze but with maybe Motueka. Not flawed but pretty undrinkable balance

Really good. Sweet but complex enough- bitterness, Nelson dankness, a touch of heart, Motueka lemon/lime for it to not overpower everything. Motueka works really well in these. Peacharine would be good. Maybe even fruity Simcoe. A bit woody.

It's what the kids like, but to me, this is too sweet, and when an IPA is too sweet, it's barely drinkable. Softer than the first batch as far as woodiness -maybe that's a result of sweetness. No. Not looking good for the DIPA version. Pineapple fruit cup
