This is the lager brewed with Kernza, a perennial wheat that is just becoming available in low quantities. Straw lager with light haze. Definitely has a light wheaty flavor and is finished with delicate hops. Works well in the Pure etched glass.

I spotted this beer at a bottle shop in Atascadero and had to bring it home as I haven’t ever seen this classic Italian Pilsner anywhere local. Straw with light haze. Soft malt flavor gives way to a soft noble hop finish.
