I always want big yeast phenolics and alcohol essence in a belgian blonde, and this years is better. Still a bit “heavy” on the malt and sweetness with some Belgian characteristics but leans more on the clove/banana than black pepper for me

Since June/July this year this just hasnt been “on par” with how excellent this has been the past few years - the bitterness and hop flavors are like 75% there but there’s been some hop creep and near diacetyl (I think hop derived) flavors creeping in.
