Thought this needed drinking before it got much older but it’s still in fine form; the nose alone remains astounding full of bourbon and vanilla and the beer itself is a delightful warm smooth sipper; maybe should have saved it for winter. Great beer.

Outstanding sipping stout; alcohol pleasantly prominent; incredible boozy depth, woodiness, dried fruits and bourbon, lasting warmth. The only negative is the near impossibility of finding this beer in the U.K.! One of the very best of imperial stouts.
