Norman W. is drinking a Dark Days by Chin Chin Brewing Company at The Mallard
Afternoon with old railway pals, Guy, Arthur, and Richard. LCI.. Goodness gracious. What a topping rich stout, full of the far away tastes of rum and raisins. As I may have said before - it's nice Stuart! β€οΈβ¬. Had another to make sure. Thanks Rixhard
Norman W. is drinking a Baby Ghost by Silver Brewhouse at The Mallard
Afternoon with old railway pals, Guy, Arthur, and Richard. Late check-in. Continued brew from Raw I think. Hoppy IPA. Good on a hot afternoon in sunny Worksop. π§‘π
Norman W. is drinking a Bitter by JW Lees and Co at The Mallard
Afternoon with old railway pals, Guy, Arthur, and Richard. LCI. Decent session bitter - rare as me and Manchester beers are not usually best pals. ππ Pic is not related but is for Steve K. This was Maxwell. Pedigree Persian but a reject & daft & luvly
Norman W.: Being brewed by Stones came as an utter shock to me Vincent! What were they thinking of? Money maybe ...of course
Vincent Y.: Don't know if there was a fire or something, after successful adverts moved back to Manchester not the same brew tho' π
Vincent Y.: Draft flow has a lot to answer for π
Andy T.: Vincent Y. Indeed it does. One of my pet hates too. π π»
Vincent Y.: Actually had pedigree in a draft flow can π .. needless to say that didn't last
Andy T.: Vincent Y. Yes, I seem to recall that now. A lesson in how to turn a half-decent beer into something quite dreadful. π
Norman W. is drinking a Hullabaloo by Loddon Brewery at The Liquorice Gardens (Wetherspoon)
In Worksop Spoons. Aircon working well. Used to be a supermarket where after work I would call for fish for our old cat Maxwell. Not had this ake since 2014. Loved it then & it's still great. β€οΈπ
Same personnel, same venue, same regular event...but hotter. Pheasantry' good bitter as ever, and recommended by Cassie'and her Furby ππͺ
