Wouter: 2/2…, followed by a sharp tangy sourness that finishes on a slightly sweet vanilla finish. Some layers on this one!

Wouter is drinking a Three Rules of Authentic Trappist by Bierbrouwerij De Koningshoeven at Bierlokaal Locus Publicus
Just like the good ol’ days: back at Locus! They haven’t really changed the regular menu since the last time we’ve been here, so we had to resort to the specials. Been very curious about this one for a while, so let’s go! Clear to low-hazy..1/2

Wouter is drinking a Framboos & Cheesecake by Brouwerij de Molen at Camping Beek En Hei
After the strawberry, cherry and rhubarb-minded of its brethren we had earlier today, next on Sour Saturday, we pay homage to the raspberry! Clear to light hazy pink orange pour. Sweet raspberry pastry on the nose. Freshly muddled raspberry flavours...1/2

Wouter is drinking a Rhubarb Drizzleberry Cupcake by Vault City Brewing at Camping Beek En Hei
Continuing the sour streak with this flavour bomb. Dark pink, cloudy pour. Freshly pressed red fruits on the nose. Delectable medium sour & fruity overtones. Evolving flavours: there’s something new in every sip! Amazing long-lasting rhubarb finish.

Wouter is drinking a Summer Wine by Stigbergets Bryggeri at Camping Beek En Hei
Love it! Cloudy, dark orange pour. Slightly sweet scented. Subtle sweet cherry undertones, distinct delicate sour strawberries, some oranges and kiwi. Enjoyable, fruity pastry!

Wouter is drinking a Lowlander Beersecco by Lowlander Botanical Beer at Camping Beek En Hei
Decided that this beer-prosecco Frankenstein was probably the most appropriate to celebrate the founding of our Maclèr wine trade. Peculiar brew! Slightly hazy, light yellow white beer-like pour. Faint flowers on the nose. Effervescent, rosemary… 1/2
Wouter: 2/2… some hints of citrus and quite the enjoyable dry grapy finish. Combined with the serenity of this camping spot: perfect start to the weekend!
Wouter: 2/2.. dark amber pour. Some caramel on the nose, but also something that makes me reminiscent of the piss stalls during my uni time. Taste is definitely unique, with some faint sugar and quite some brett, but for my liking it’s overly quirky…
