An excellent example of what a double IPA should be. Hoppy but not ridiculously so. Not overly floral, citrusy or piney, but just right. Almost dangerously drinkable.

Wow. Assertive, velvety body and mouthfeel. The flavor is definitely on the sweeter side, with notes of toffee and caramel rather than the coffee and chocolate flavors of other stouts. This really does feel like a break.

Malty and light, perhaps a bit drier than I expect for a Vienna. There’s something else there, almost a huskiness, in the finish.

Bitter, dry and just enough body to make you want one more. Beautiful, long-lasting head that fades to a prominent lace. This is rapidly becoming my go-to for around the house.
