Unfortunately this is one of those IPA's where the (impressive) hop aroma is so floral it leans soapy to me. The malt sweetness and bitterness is well balanced. Nice resinous hop character, old school C hops for sure. Lighter color, modern. Solid brew.

Nice malt character, very clean fermentation profile. Almost too crisp for the style. Could use a maltier yeast or higher FG. Roast is just a hair too high in the mix and there's a small amount of astringency. I'm probably being too picky. It's great.

Way too much vanilla. Totally ruins the beer. Also has a noticeably ashy/burnt flavor. Absolute worst I've had from Sam's in a long time.

Clean fermentation profile and well attenuated for the style. Far too much chocolate and coffee for the style and not enough malty bready and carameley richness. Very drinkable overall regardless. Will revisit this one.
