£2.49 for 355ml. That’s 3.65/pint in old money Tim. £2/pint cheaper than anywhere e-learning in Newbury. Hoppily delicious. Yum yum, pigs bum.

Wolf Brewery by Granny Wouldn't Like It!

Steve K. is drinking a Granny Wouldn't Like It! by Wolf Brewery at The Hatchet Inn (Wetherspoon)

It won an award in 2005! As Tim of Newbury would describe this beer; £2.39/pint. No need for aroma, taste, just the price/volume. Malty, that’s me now. Sweet. Drying/bitter aftertaste. Not to my taste, but OK.

Suggested this IS a collab with Evil Twin. Why? Got to rush for the train. Smells strong and fruity. Like an Aunt when you were 5.

It’s got teeth in it. Quite dry. Then bitterish perhaps sherbet in the taste.

Place across the road reminded me of Antwerp. See photo. Beer reminded me of last time I had it. Ah, great memories.

Just knew this would be good when I saw the sign on the street. Hazy, hoppy, juicy. Tropical and not too bitter. It’s all I need. So sign licking over and the beer tastes like a road sign advert. 😀

Photo from under. Farmhouse aroma, easy drinking. Mild honey aftertaste. Can only drink it here. Raising money for firefighters. 👩🏽‍🚀 bloody well hope that’s a firefighter and not a Disney fairy. Too small to see! Specsavers next.

I’m pairing this initially fruity then bitter beer with my notes. And Buzzcocks-Ever Falken In Love? 🎵 and Joy Division-Love Will Tear Us Apart. Great music. Papers, I’m new CAMRA BLO. Lucky me. 🍀

Takes me back more than 40 years. Big hit of rhubarb, then thick, creamy vanilla. Used to buy them 2oz at a time in a paper bag.

A great pale ale paired with even better music 🎵 Stiff Little Fingers and Alternative Ulster 🔥 Beer is light, easy drinking with just a hint of bitterness, although that lingers and seems to get stronger.

Waiting for Gypsy Hill to brew a bad beer. I love them. Hoppy, bitter ouliyness. Not even a word. Photo has a Block Bell in the background. I’ve got a number of those. I bet it’s the only block bell on Jntappd.
