Spëkter Wolffie: The "ethanol-forward" part made me chuckle. I've found things like imperial IPAs are either boozy and intensely flavorful...or taste like paint thinner. There is no middle ground lol.

Awesome and powerful showcase for Simcoe. Citrusy and piney with that little bit of green onion/garlic stank that I love about Simcoe. Delicious.

Nice NZ-hopped IPA. Floral and just a little lightly dank. On the stronger end but balanced well.
Jonathan Lee is drinking a Beef Trip'd by Hop Butcher For The World at Margate Park
Insanely good classic HB triple. Creamy without feeling like a lactose bomb. Grapefruit pokes through the murk in almost umami waves. Sneaky as hell. Gotta have this with a South Side gym shoe sandwich, iykyk

Jonathan Lee is drinking a West Coast-Hero by Revolution Brewing at Margate Park
I'm not sure this needs to exist. Overly sharply bitter w/o much of the supporting citrus/resin that I look for in a nice WC DIPA. I'm finishing this, but tbh this is the kind of beer that makes the unadventurous categorically dislike all IPAs.

Vaguely along the lines of all those 8 to 10-percenter single tallboy DIPA cans we've been seeing everywhere these days, but done better than most. Ethanol-forward but with a solid citrus/piney West Coast backing.

Jim Moffat: Need to do more single hop beers so I can pick out the hops. That sounds delicious
