I wasn’t really expecting much from this, in spite of a few hidden gems in Lidl over the past couple of years. However, this was far poorer than imagined. It is, in absolutely no way an IPA, and even more less a ‘modern’ one. It’s a bitter. A bad bitter.

Hazel cloudy with no foam. Light nose, slight maple. Brown sugar!? Boozy. Piney. Bitter. It’s like a proper, classic West Coast double from the old skool. A good contrast from the new topical guard.

Pale, thick hazy juice. Dry, sweet papaya nose with good hopping and fantastic balance. It’s another tropical sensation from the Derbyshire boys.

Golden and hazy. Very lively out of the mini cask. Beautiful, dry hop nose with apricot and bitterness from the kick off. Mellow, sweet middle with orange zest and malts. Happy Thanksgiving. 🍻Earned the Middle of the Road (Level 93) badge! Earned the Caskville (Level 86) badge!
