As clear as an explanation by Carl Sagan. The scent of a bowl of autumn apples on a hot day, some bruised, some with spots of rot. Not too sweet, slightly tart, tastes of old-fashioned apples ripened in the sun on gnarly ancient trees in a cottage garden.
