Stig B.: The Lawrence Arms/American Steel/The Falcon/Sundowner at a sold-out Metro Chicago in 2007 being THE sweatiest. I came close to passing out. Ironically(?) maybe the best gig I ever went to…
Stig B. is drinking a Simcoe Solo by BrewDog at BrewDog Bristol
Drug Church post-show beer #1. Not the best use of Simcoe I’ve experienced, but certainly not the worst. Lacking a bit of pine. Refreshing after attending the 2nd most sweaty punk rock gig in my life..
Stig B. is drinking a Hypnosis by Left Handed Giant at Left Handed Giant Brewpub
Drug Church warm-up beer #4. It’s a DIPA. It has Citra in it. But still, it’s a very nice beer. Surely due to Nelson and Strata. Tasting super fresh.
Stig B. is drinking an Early To The Party by Left Handed Giant at Left Handed Giant Brewpub
Drug Church warm-up beer #3. Lovely stuff. It would have benefited from being even more sour, but it’s a very nice beer as it is.

Well, they apparently have a Citra-magnet here, because 9 out of 10 beers on the pale ale/IPA menu has Citra in it. (Many also Citra/Mosaic/….) Not complaining, but for someone who is sick and tired of everything Citra, this might not be the place for me.
Drug Church post-show beer #2. Now we’re talking. The sweet and sour is balanced perfectly. A strawberry sour doesn’t always work. This effing does. Only 5.2%?!
