Steve Starling is drinking a Flemm by BentSpoke Brewing Co
Flemm (seriously?) mightn’t be my fave from BentSpoke, but it’s a nice drop. The taste is light and quite “summery” with (for me) an almost lemonade-like effervescence that’s more reminiscent of a saison beer or — dare I say it — a very nice shandy!

Oh my, THAT’S a winner. Hoppy as heck without being over the top, honeyed malty notes and with that wonderfully distinctive, refreshing west coast citrusy tang. Anyone who enjoys Crankshaft and Sprocket from this brewery will love it.

That really is a “fun” beer! Something a little bit funky going on in the background but I actually don’t mind it. Sort of “yeasty” is about the best way I can describe it. I hope no socks were actually involved...

I thought it was a tad too bitter for my tastes on the first mouthful but quickly abandoned that idea. Very nice! Fruity without being syrupy. Plenty of hops. Delish!

Oh my… possibly a new favourite! Lots of hops, citrus and stone fruit, very little bitterness and a light touch of lactose. Special!
