Mark Livz is drinking a Til I Want No More by Sinnister Brew at St. John the Divine
Bottle number 229/240 Seriously limited edition micro brew. It is warm and toasty with more than a hint of spice alongside currant’s raisins and a hint of mixed peel. Light for a stout with a slight sour edge from the fruit. A perfect winter warmer.

Mark Livz is drinking an Alhambra Reserva Roja by Grupo Cervezas Alhambra at THE DEVILS ARSE
A darker beer with a metallic aroma, it has an initial sweetness that leads into a strong toasted malt flavour that has a sour edge, this leads on to a lingering bitterness. Also at 7.2%ABV it’s slightly heavy for this warm weather.

Mark Livz is drinking an IJwit by Brouwerij 't IJ at Truth Hurts Brewery & Tap
The perfect beer for this hot weather, summer is finally here. Smooth and fruity with a yeasty undertone and a dry finish, at 6.5%ABV it is no shrinking violet either.

Mark Livz is drinking a Strong Ale by Marble Beers Ltd at Ocean Beach Bodyzorbs
Proper old skool ale, reminds me of something that your great grandfather would drink before a shift in the pit, dark, malty and seriously alcoholic with an intense roasted grain flavour. Puts hairs on your chest and sorts the men from the boys.

This beer gives out serious grapefruit vibes straight from the off, it has a mild and pleasant bitterness that grows but that resinous grapefruit flavour is stubbornly present throughout. One of the best Cumbrian ales I’ve ever tasted.
