Stouts always give off the best smells IMO. Caramel heavy in this one. The taste up front is the same caramel and then way after the sip is done coffee, vanilla & raisin show up and hang around. I wish there was a little more coffee. Huge dry finish.

Good citrus, but this is really all about the pine...it lingers for quite awhile(maybe to long). Definitely a west coast style. Enjoyable beer, it just needs a little more balance.
