I was so excited when I saw this in the liquor store. My hopes were dashed when I brought it home and cracked one open. I found this nothing like Sunny-D. It was way more tart and much thinner than Sunny-D. Nice try though, not.

Tastes almost like a grape soda. The lemon-lime gives it a bit of a medicinal flavor. Pour it over ice and it makes it better, for me anyway.

Brought this back from a trip to Seattle. Mainly bought it because I’ve never heard of a Dark Smooth Ale. Glad I bought it because this beer is great. It’s malty, but not roasty like you’d think. Semi sweet and oh so SMOOTH!
