Lee (Jig) J. is drinking a Wavelength by Turning Point Brew Co. at Water Lane Boathouse
We came here for food by the canal. A new venue for me and I enjoyed it! And a fruity Turning point pale to go with my chicken burger? Yes please!
Lee (Jig) J. is drinking a Break Even by Kirkstall Brewery at The Hop
I nearly missed this cause the pump clip is exactly the same as Three Swords, which I like but have had loads. I’m glad I realised this is a different ale cause it was really nice!
Lee (Jig) J. is drinking a Queen Rat by The Rat Brewery at Poppleton Beer Festival
Brewer of great pales, it’s easy to forget that when they turn their hands to dark beers, RAT really know how to make exceptional versions of this style too. Queen is a proper, dark, smooth, strong and full bodied stout. Great end to a great festival
Lee (Jig) J. is drinking an AM:PM by Thornbridge Brewery at Poppleton Beer Festival
One of those beers where you think “surely I’ve had this before” , but if had, I’d clearly never checked it in. This was more than a mere “one to tick off” though, a nice fruity IPA indeed. Enjoyed with a chilli pork pie, after my earlier hotdog.

GK S.: 😂👍🏻
I recognised this as an ale I enjoyed at Poppleton beer fest on Friday night, so it was a no brainier. The sour underbelly carried over a little too much for me this time, but it’s still a nice, hazy IPA.
