Provost Drunk: Really good, but Badlands stouts (based on my admittedly somewhat limited exposure) fall just short of elite for my tastes and preferences.

Thick and syrupy with no carbonation. Barrel-forward with big bourbon vanilla notes. Leans a bit sweet but not fatally so. Some very faint roast from the underlying stout reveals itself on some sips.

Provost Drunk: Smaller pour was perfect here: might have even felt compelled to downgrade if drinking a full bottle.

Not a huge Sabro fan, but at least the coconut is secondary here to some other tropical notes. Creamy. Slight hit of hop burn in the finish.
Provost Drunk is drinking a Presqu'île by Tête d'Allumette at City of Toronto
Not a lot of smoke on the nose, but ample smoke on the palate. The underlying beer has a very slight sourness that compromises the caramel malt base and makes me wonder if there is some early onset infection at work.

A little bit bland but a welcome pass time on the flight home. Started stronger than it finished.
