You can tell this beer is very fresh. Big strata showing itself up front with a pleasant modern bitterness, with a clean crisp finish. Not to dry, just enough malt and residual sugar to balance. Nice modern ipa. Surprised by the low rating

This has that malt character I call “Wisconsin IPA malt”. Not what folks buying IPL are expecting, so branding doesn’t make much sense. Beer tastes proper, but not sure why they’d make a beer that tastes like 2010, and not lean into the throwback vibe
