Number 5. Brings back pleasant memories of first encountering NZ beers some years ago during a visit. Very light and smooth. Palatability (if that is a word) is great with only a slight bitterness noticed. I could drink this beer all night. But…

Number 4. More like a traditional Czech style Pilsner than the Old Prague reviewed previously. This one is light as expected but carries with it more heft, particularly as evidenced by the Saaz hops. Downed that one rather quickly. Must be hitting my **

Number 3. Very light on the taste lager. Low ABV (4.4%) and low IBU (13). Good beer and one especially suited to summer consumption. Characterized as a lager but close to Pilsner light. Still a very drinkable beer.

Number 2. Appealing bitterness. Medium bodied with a muted dryness in the taste. West coast hops transmit a mixed flavor/taste including a hint of pine and perhaps some citrus overtones. I like it.

Number 1. Decidedly piney, although relatively light on the tongue. Pleasant berry taste, almost sweet and long lasting. Bitterness is evident but balanced. Very smooth thirst quenching finish.
