Different than I remember from a few years ago. LEss banana, a bit more bubblegum, and bit more of that plasticy phenolic in belgian beers. Not as sweet as I remember, and slightly more grassy. Nicely balanced and refreshing though
Not much to say. Awesome german lager, in season and not as old/stale as a lot I come across. The noble hops pop and the malt is slightly sweet an clean. Bitterness makes it crispy. Ends with a slight minerally/salty taste which knock is a bit down though
Marzipan, pistachio ice cream, sweet mead and honey, cherry, coconut, molasses, cinnamon, vanilla, stale medium roast coffee. Thick mouthful but a hair "light" for 15.6%. Very drinkable. Bourbon is part of the supporting cast here. Honey takes the show.Earned the Sky's the Limit (Level 7) badge! Earned the Beyond a Shadow of a Stout (Level 6) badge!
