Maurice Steenhagen is drinking a Tumult by Blackout Brewing at Camping Capfun
Medium-thick, smooth and creamy with notes of chocolate, coffee, star anise and vanilla. The balance is actually quite good. Decently complex and layered, with a very long finish. The addition of star anise makes it a very interesting stout for sure.

Maurice Steenhagen is drinking an Apocrypha: Blackcurrant Brandy Barrel Aged Vanilla (2025, Purple Wax) by Hop Hooligans at Untappd at Home
Thick, smooth and creamy mouthfeel with notes of coffee, chocolate, vanilla, fruity (blackcurrant) and a beautiful brandy barrel. Mouthfeel is spot-on and the balance is actually quite good. The finish is long with a nice bitter kick at the end. Nice one!

A wheat beer with lemon and basil, from a nano brewery here in Normandy. It's clean, crisp and has a clear taste of lemon. It's also quite bitter. Not my usual cup of tea and truth be told, I'm not really impressed.
