2020 has been the year of sub 8% beers for me. Been having fun trying new, lower ABV styles/beers, and this is another good one to add to the list. DDH citra single IPA. Plain, simple and well done. Thanks Lisa R.
At 8.5% and tons of hops being thrown in, I was expecting this to be heavy and dank, but quite the opposite. This beer comes off really light, not thin, but shockingly light for a DIPA. No one huge burst of flavor, dry and dank. Solid.Earned the Better Together (Level 33) badge!
Best variation of this I’ve had so far. Beautiful color, light and crisp, refreshing and mouth coating. Pillow soft body and finish, no bite, although there is more of a bitter pop finish as it warmed. Thirst quenching.Earned the Untappd at Home (Level 34) badge!
While this was tasty (juice like) the rating is going based on the description. Sweet cherry prominent on the nose and flavor. Barely any mango, no orange. Glad I shared because this would be a tough one to finish 16oz. Just too much sweet cherryEarned the Verified Adventure (Level 85) badge!
Goodness gracious this beer is good. Canned 5/18, this is drinking so well right now. Candies orange, citrus and dank hops on the nose. Taste follows, tropics, papaya citrus and light pine. Creamy, mouth coating and no burn at all. Unique hop combo FTW
