Thinnest Benthic I can recall, akin to a Rev stout. Barrel was strong but a bit wound up, lacking smoothness. Bittersweet anise, leather, varnish, rye spice notes. Coconut was moderate, slight roasty coffee. Didn't love this as much as I wanted to.

Effortlessly drinkable but enough going on to maintain interest. Soft, slightly funky hay notes and a lemony tartness. Texture also soft and fluffy. A delight to drink. 4.6
Concentrated, rich caramel and hints of chocolate. Less dark fruit oriented than dome ADWTD. Warming booze, but not overtly hot by any means. Maybe less dry and oaky than some others too.
