This was truly different, even for La Source. Oily bodied, odd mix of tart grapefruit & herbals finishing off with a serious hot chili burn 🥵. I’d say more interesting to try than enjoyable, but credit for going (way) off the beaten path.

This silky smooth balanced medium bodied smoky BBA BW is lovely! Elegant & exquisite comes to mind. Since previous brews from Pinta Barrel Brewing all has been top shelf, it will require further exploration.

Smooth balanced too sweet (for me) Nelson fruity with citric support and a hint of dry bitterness. (CD 0303).

The light sweet fruitiness (vanilla?) in this mid bodied silky Cognac BA porter was an unexpected surprise. Never tasted its like. Quite boozy cognac forward, but this (to me) new tasty flavor combo in a Porter deserves my mark up.

Smooth & creamy yet raw & dank with overripe fruits, citric pith, a touch burn and dry balancing bitterness. Something is a bit different from the NE generics in this one. Hard to pinpoint, aggressively offensive fits, and it’s positive. (CD 03/25)
