Midnight Oil by Mason Ale Works

Brian D Smith is drinking a Midnight Oil by Mason Ale Works at CraftHouse - Fairfax

ABV: 14% IBU: N/A Color: Dark brown Aroma: Dark with coffee and hazelnut Taste: Really tasty with a coffee taste and a good choice of hazelnut. The hazelnut is really strong, but it is balanced with the coffee. The bourbon barrel is OK, but it is 2nd!

ABV: 10% IBU: N/A Color: Dark brown Aroma: Deep and dark Taste: Thick and rich; really good! Roasted barley to the darkest bit of perfection. Dont drink it too fast, because it is pretty strong. Slowly take it back, open the nostrils, and just take it in!

ABV: 4.8% IBU: N/ A Color: Gold Aroma: Athletics lager Taste: An athletic Czech style lager. It really should not be a surprise that an athletic lager is going to be on the low side of demand. Lager is going to be festive, happy but not atheltic. Woops!

ABV: 6.5% IBU: N/A Color: Murky gold Aroma: Mildly hoppy Taste: This is not West Side IPA, but more of a standard IPA. Not a huge difference, but for those of us who have learn the difference, it is worth mentioning. The taste goes back a way - it is OK.
