Doug R is drinking an Olympia Revival by Künstler Brewing at Künstler Brewing
Pours amber with a thin persistent head. Light, low-hopped start leads to a smooth, biscuity malt body and clean semisweet finish with lingering yeasty notes. Nice and definitely a throwback reminiscent of its namesake.

Doug R is drinking a Queen of the Mist: Chokeberries by Martin House Brewing Company at Untappd at Home
Pours crimson with a massive, pillowy head and funky bouquet. Tart berry start leads to a strong vinous red wine body. Boozy finish is smoothed by whiskey and oak from barrel aging that all combine for lingering blackberry brandy notes. Awesome BA sour!

Doug R: Jeff M., I'm a huge fan of their creativity. They never shrink away from novel adjuncts in unlikely styles. I'm not a huge fan of sours but their BBA and WBA sours are great. This is the second in this particular series that I've had. Both are incredible!
Jeff McDonald: Ohhhh, YES! 👍
Doug R is drinking a Blackberry by Meridian Hive at The Cove
¡Otra vez! It's getting to where a trip to The Cove isn't complete without a MH Blackberry mead.
Purchased at The Cove
Pours light amber with a thin head. Light, crisp start leads to a clean, toasty body. Finishes lightly sweet with roasty coffee notes. Been 3 years, but I always enjoy this one when it hits the rotation.
