Pours darkest brown with a thin head. Surprisingly light, thin start quickly yields to a deep, rich, robust coffee body. Uberstrong finish has oakey, boozy goodness and brown sugar notes from bourbon barrel aging. Better than expected for a Swedish BBA.

Doug R is drinking a Slippin’ Into Darkness (Coconut) by Brazos Valley Brewing at Big Hops - Huebner
First time I've had this in 3 years. Vintage 2022 pours much fuller but with a much lower coconut bouquet. Smooth start leads to a strong body with distinct chocolatey notes. Roasty coffee-like finish with lingering woody notes. Coconut has gone AWOL.

Pours caramelly brown and bubbly with a full head. Assertive toasted malt from the start. Body is smooth and nutty with nicely balanced sweetness. Finishes clean with lingering pecan and caramel notes. Easiest drinking single Bock I've tried in a while!

Pours caramelly reddish-brown with a massive pillowy head. Light, autumnal start leads to a smooth, strong, and heavily malted body. Clean, caramel sweet finish has notes of piney hops. Very reminiscent of a barleywine. Pretty good.
