Marlan Holland is drinking a Warsteiner Weihnacht / Winter by Warsteiner at Untappd at Home
Last of the Holiday Nutcrackers. This one & the beer are courtesy of my friend, Andy. Orange Amber, spice & fruit nose with a nice head. It’s 5.6% ABV, smooth, lots of complex flavors, spice, fruit & roasted malts. Clean & clear with a good finish.

Marlan Holland is drinking a Koko Buni by Creature Comforts Brewing Co. at Untappd at Home
Dark black body with a thick tan head & a roasty, malted nose. It’s rich & robust with slight notes of coconut, lots of chocolate & coffee & it’s almost like a chocolate milk in a way with the medium thick mouthfeel. Really nice milk porter! Thx, Darren!

Marlan Holland is drinking a Hell by Surly Brewing Company at Beer Run
Vibrant yellow, malt & bread on the nose. It’s a solid Helles, hits all the right points for a German Helles beer, notes of bread or biscuit, really enjoyable at 5% ABV.

Marlan Holland is drinking a Hundred Year Flood by Högwaller Brewing at Högwaller Brewing
Bright yellow, biscuit & bread malt on the nose. It’s 7.2% ABV, smooth, clean with the same bread notes. No aftertaste, it’s a really good Helles!

Last Christmas theme beer pics for this season. I’m melancholy, been off since 11/01 after surgery & I go back to work tomorrow. 😕 Good beer, light amber, thin head. Lots of spice & some fruit noted, maybe apricot. 5.9%, a gift from my friend Andy!
