Marlan Holland is drinking a Red Oak by Red Oak Brewery at Homewood Suites by Hilton
Reddish amber body, sweet on the nose with nice roasted malt overtones. The malt and sweetness are up front, smooth, almost like a dessert! There’s roasted caramel, rich malt and a clean, finish at 5% ABV. This is a nice amber lager.

Clean, crisp, with notes of toasted cereal, spices, and a balanced bitterness. Very nice lager at 5.4% ABV.

Marlan Holland is drinking a Barn Burner by Elkton Brewing Company at Elkton Brewing Company
Citrusy hops on the nose, citrus hits hard at the front. Very juicy, IMO. Nice burst to counter the hops that are coming. Smooth and easy drinking at 7.8% ABV. It doesn’t hit hard (and undrinkable IMO) like an Imperial DNEIPA…very nice!

Marlan Holland is drinking a Friar Buck by Elkton Brewing Company at Elkton Brewing Company
Amber body, thin head and a malty nose starts this one off. It’s heavy up front in the malt, roasted & rich, finishing with a the hops taking over for a pleasant bitterness. Im catching an herbal pop as well. It’s a very nice ale at 6.4% ABV.

Cloudy yellow hue, kind of a fruity nose, nice thin head. It starts out sorta like an IPA to me but it’s much more malty from the traditional oats. It does have a basic earthy taste, and a slight dankness at 4.5% ABV. Clean, dry & smooth finish.
