Big on the chocolate notes and the abv is nice, but the body was thinner than I like. Make it thicker and oilier and I’ve drink this all the time. Still, I’ll probably get it again if I find it.

Exactly as expected. It wasn’t overly smoked like some brews I’ve had. Easy drinking but manages to be satisfying, and at a great price (¥850 or so).

Even better than the first time I drank it. This is danker and has a fuller body than Starwatcher. Less crushable in a way that makes you drink it a bit more slowly. Depends on my mood with one I would pick.

Yeah, on paper seems like something I’d avoid (hazy, low abv, and with fruit), but this was a perfectly balanced beer and an excellent finish to a long session.

Starts off impressively fruity, but then there’s a soap like flavor that shows up and ruins it. Had some french fries with it, but not sure I could finish a full pint by itself without forcing myself.
