Robust is a good word from the can, certainly on the aroma. Bitter in the smokey/dark chocolate sense. I like that it’s not smooth and easy drinking. I like it’s challenging.

A gift from my neighbour. Remarkable at that price point; it’s not as refined as, say, London Black. It’s a bit more spiky. But in terms of flavour, I’m very impressed. The aroma is great, very chocolatey, and the dry on the finish. Very impressed.
