Jason F. is drinking an Oxford by Sandbox Brewing
2017. Very full bodied, big mouthfeel. Profile is fruity but could use more caramel. Overall p'good
Jason F. is drinking a Barrel Aged PoMo PDX by Yellow Dog Brewing Co
Lots of barrel character but balanced by the body and hop presence. Fruity brett also prevalent. Good stuff, surprised it's canned not btl'd
Jason F. is drinking a Mental Floss by Beere Brewing Company
2/20 can. Great creamy, light malt body and low bitterness. Hop flavours are a bit muddled, but overall really good.
Jason F. is drinking a Parabola (2017) by Firestone Walker Brewing Company
Well it wasn't going to drink itself
Jason F. is drinking a Trappist Westvleteren 12 by Brouwerij De Sint-Sixtusabdij van Westvleteren
2014 bottle brought back from Belgium by my mom. This is peaking right now! stewed dark fruits, caramel, touch of soda. Fav 2014 bottle yet
Jason F. is drinking an Entropy Series #5 by Dageraad Brewing
The IPA tag can be a bit misleading. This is tasting great with a bit more time. Dry, lively, minerally, herbal, floral. Nice bitterness
Jason F. is drinking a Burton Ale by Sandbox Brewing
Malty flavours of plum and caramel, pretty sweet but not too cloying. Bitterness is lower than expected.
Jason F. is drinking an Old Cellar Dweller (2011) by Driftwood Brewery
Oxidative aroma but flavour has held up well. Sugar plums, sherry, toffee. Mild heat. Nice actually
Jason F. is drinking a Woodstock by Sandbox Brewing
Nose is berries, plum, caramel. Taste is fruity with some leather and toffee. Slick mouthfeel, no carb.
Jason F. is drinking a Mirror Mirror (2014) by Deschutes Brewery
Red licorice aroma, a lot of the wine barrel coming through on taste along with some cardboard unfortunately
Jason F. is drinking a Magic Touch by 2 Crows Brewing
Rounded out citrusy hops with mid-level acidity
Jason F. is drinking an I Love You by 2 Crows Brewing
Perceived sweetness, citrus pops after that, not a lot of Brett character (maybe some stone fruit)
Jason F. is drinking a Forever Young by 2 Crows Brewing
Lemony funk with assertive bitterness and nice oak complexity. Nice.
Jason F. is drinking a Val D'Or by Coalesce Brewing at Bus Stop 50945 (14,16,N35)
Love the mingling of bready malt and lightly fruity brett in a dry and effervescent package. The hop flavour and bitterness backs it all up
One of my favorite BC beer releases...ever?!

Jason F. is drinking a Burton Ale by Vancouver Island Brewing
Nose is raisin and red licorice. Big body, pretty assertive bitterness. Malt flavours come up short despite nice aroma. Grassy bitterness
