You can really taste the malt. Soft to the mouth. Nicely pitched sweetness and quite easy to drink. At 5.2% and 500ml it’s makes it a good drink to have if your having a party but can no longer consume volume like you used too. Perfect for a summer BBQ.

Not bad at all. Properly light and easy drinking. Reasonably sweet with not toooo much grapefruit. And at 4.5% it makes it worthwhile having (that coming from an ale/stout lover).

I LOVE ales and this is a great example. Sweet, bitter, FULL bodied, strong. Very easy to drink which makes it dangerous. For a mass produced, this is really good.

A really good beer. FULL of flavour. Masses of malt, toffee, caramel, plum and apricot. And for me, the best bit is there was NO grapefruit in sight. My ONLY criticism is at 6%, can this be called a “true” imperial? I’d like it to be at least 2% stronger.
