Colorado IPA by River North Brewery

Juniper J. is drinking a Colorado IPA by River North Brewery at Untappd at Home

Bright, gold, clean, hoppy--would be great to pop this open after a day of river rafting. Punches at higher IBU than usually seen these days, which gives it a real edge, but a balanced edge with a stainless shine.

Juicy rich with a bite; distinct fruits include mango, pineapple, tangerine. Pale bready malt & European hop addition adds a peppery edge of lightness that plays well with carbonation and belies the weighty ABV.

Big, resinous, boldly hoppy ale with amber/Munich malts--somewhere between West Coast & APA styles. Canned on 4/20/21, fresh & crisp. Thanks, Leo R for the gift!

Much better than on April 3. Closer to the source is a reminder to drink locally. Looks like apricot nectar, has an exuberant nose and a lively head. Retains dank juicy complexity. No vanilla essence now, so dare I say that was the line?

Good if you're in a cocktail mood. Bourbon-soaked raisins & cherries, dash of herbal bitters, a twist of orange. Needs a roaring fireplace. Only problem is that today hit 90 F, but thankfully only 26% RH. Swirl in snifter before consumption.
