Jim Moffat is drinking a Duchesse Chocolate Cherry by Brouwerij Verhaeghe at Chicago Family Easter 2025
Introducing the family to a Flanders ale. Red wine like aroma. Tart. Sour. A little acetic. A wonderful balance of the chocolate and cherries. Finishes dry. Different from the regular Duchesse but good

Jim Moffat is drinking a Bistro Mango, Strawberry & Banana Smoothie by Energy City Brewing at Chicago Family Easter 2025
More beer education. Berliner Weiss. Tart. Getting all three of the flavors: mango, banana, strawberry. Mango is most prominent. It’s very thick. Must have used a lot of fruit purée. It’s ok.

Jim Moffat is drinking a Seedless by Great Notion Brewing at Chicago Family Easter 2025
Beer education with my BIL. He wanted to try a gose. Tart. Getting watermelon, strawberry and a tiny bit of salt. BIL said it tastes like a watermelon Jolly Rancher. Finishes dry. I am not normally a watermelon fan, but this isn’t bad.
