Family tree box#2 is here. This one is does taste like cherry cobbler (sort of). Cherry fruit predominates (although not too sweet), rounded out with cinnamon- and I detected hints of coconut. A solid beer as far as fruit beers go.

Imperial stout from Brazil! Flavor is roasty-bitter, with notes of chocolate. Some citrus on the finish. Vanilla too, but you have to search for it. (Thanks again to KT & Eric.)
John Powers is drinking a Barrel Aged Cherry Maibock by Caboose Brewing Company at Caboose Brewing Company
This beer tastes like bourbon with a cherry. Not too sweet, only slightly bitter. The bourbon comes through, as does the cherry.

Scotch ale. Thicker mouthfeel than your typical scotch ale. Flavor is basic malt with plums, mineral finish. Less of a bite than some scotch ales.
