Jack Benge is drinking a Sea of Stars by Tilted Barn Brewery at Windmill Hill Park
Really been a minute since I’ve enjoyed some Rhode Island hops, the Department of Beer & Wine with a solid New England selection. Strata & Pacific Sunrise hops for this DIPA, viscous base with a creamy finish & tangerine flavor
Purchased at Department of Beer and Wine
Jack Benge is drinking an Obscenity Is War by Lost Generation Brewing Company at Windmill Hill Park
Seemed appropriate for these idiotic times we are living in, Lost Generation has been delivering some consistently good pilsners & hops. This DIPA has Citra, NZ Cascade & Superdelic. Creamy head while drinking like an orange creamsicle with citrus drizzle
Purchased at Department of Beer and Wine
Earned the Super Style: IPA - Imperial / Double New England / Hazy (Level 57) badge!
Jack Benge is drinking The Substance - 2012 Original Recipe by Bissell Brothers Brewing Company at Windmill Hill Park
Haven’t had a Substance since moving out of Boston, fun that they have dusted off the OG recipe. Leans much more into a West Coast IPA, dank and incredibly crisp, like my favorite hops from NPBC. Lots of lemon on the nose, crushable Portland hops
Purchased at Planet Wine
Earned the Super Style: IPA - American (Level 24) badge!
Jack Benge is drinking an Universe From Scratch (2025) by Bottle Logic Brewing at Stoneybrooke Park & Stone mansion
Mike hooked it up, Barly. Is. Lyf & Live Mas y’all😎✌️layers of toffee, caramelized fruit & warm baking spice. Additions of cinnamon and apple make you feel like you are diving into a flakey pie crust, finished with bourbon brown sugar
At the Key before the DC Improv, an abundance of RaR hops to choose from, left hand pour. Had to start with the Brujos collab, a real chewy TIPA with notes of vanilla ice cream, marshmallow and mango. NZ hops providing a tropical party
