Good to find a BIB perry by Little Pomona but a tad too acetic for my palate.🍐

Discovering Rob’s current illustrated BIB selection, a nice Ellis Bitter and friends blend. Soft tannins, juicy, fresh. Really good cider!

Merrylegs Blend by Totemic Cider & Perry

Trying one of Matt’s first BIBs of perry in the beautiful Jolter Press in Mitcheldean. Peachy hazey hue, apricot and peach juice on the palate (a good deal of pear too). Great medium sweet perry, looking forward to more of Matt’s perries in the future 🍐

Gerald by Wingfield Cider

From this month’s Pommelier Club box, one of my favourite ciders at this year’s London Cider Salon (with a great name). An East meets West cider with a dessert and cider apple blend inherent in its DNA. Hazy, great mouthfeel, almost Spanish Sidra-esque.

Think this tastes better in can than bottle, or they’ve tweaked the recipe a bit since I last tried. Either way, a very tasty canned cider.
