Phwoar, this was one "empressive" double milk stout from Brew York! Sumptuously sweet and almost salty from the tonka bean & coconut. But all those big flavours are well balanced with a rich boozyness that lingers very nicely 🤤

More meaty than peaty! This smoked porter was rather nice with a wonderfully full body and lingering smokiness. A slight tannic flavour rounded off this beer quite well too.

It's been a while! But I've been enjoying a few dark beers over the Christmas period. Midnight in Paris was the first & it was a refreshingly black lager! Seems to be akin to black IPA, but the lightness in body is there with dark roasted notes thrown in!

Boy did I enjoy this cask offering from Full Circle! Thick, creamy, tropical fruits & plenty of hoppy bitterness. Loads of passion fruit flavour for a West Coast IPA but the texture was beautifully resinous. Smashing beer for a top North Eastern brewery!
