Andersons by Lough Gill Brewery

Barry Gargan is drinking an Andersons by Lough Gill Brewery at BrewDog Outpost Dublin

Roast barley and black cherry on the nose. Cherry and raisin on the palate. A touch too much acidity, strange balance of char and cloy in the finish. First sips were bang on, but palate adjustment is harsh on the balance here.

Nutty maillard and resin nose, touch of kibbled orange peel. Breadcrust and marmalade palate. Resin coming through, you'd nearly think whole cone hops. Body/bitter balance is very drinkable. Bardzo Ładnie

Candied orange peel nose. Blueberry and geranium palate, nice honeyed malt bill. Very much classic wcipa vibes, but with a sessionable quality. Love that earth bitterness. My kind of beer.

Mandarin and freeze-dried raspberry nose. Nectarine, honey and pear skin palate. Soft mouthfeel, light carbonation. Finishes with that characteristic Ekuanot eucalyptus pseudo-cooling effect. Wee herbaceous bitterness counterpointing fruit. Class act.

Sky Burial by Whiplash

Barry Gargan is drinking a Sky Burial by Whiplash at Untappd at Home

Peachy nose with a hint of peppery wheat. Idaho 7's mandarin/blackcurrant pairing with amarillo's lighter peach. Initial taste is pure Whiplash loveliness, but further in and the alcohol is a bit pervasive for 6.4%. Hop oils might also be the culprit.
