Really tasty & complex/layered! Great aromas of dates and toffee. Call me crazy (everyone else does), but there’s a light leather or earthy smell too. Flavor matches, with dates, toffee, and something a little meaty or savory. Ooh, and a hint of almond?!?

I don’t get ryes very often, but always good to try! Kinda fruity at the front, like dried cherries and dates maybe, then finishes with the bitter, lightly spiced flavor.

I’ve heard blueberry, green onion, and tropical fruit in mosaic, and this is definitely tropical fruit! Light and bright, juicy, refreshing, and crystal clear (no haze!)

Tons of roast, some bitter, black coffee, dry, very little, if any sweetness, and mouthfeel and thickness/weight feel more like a stout than a porter. Overall, pretty good, just more bitter than I typically look for in a dark beer.
