This is damn near the perfect week day porter: no nonsense, perfectly brewed, not too strong, straight up roasty toasty porter with decently hoppy finish. Pretty sure it's illegal to be this good at brewing so many different styles of beer.

Turns out I really like lager if you dump a bunch of nettles into it. Crisp, super bready, grassy & almost smokey. Has a lot going on & like it way more than I expected. Might even have to hunt down some more Donzoko lagers (don't tell anyone).

You'd think I'd have learned to pour a beer properly by now. A huge, fruity, murky Deya hop-monster with a label clearly done by a person on all the drugs. Really good stuff, would drink again. Immediately if I had another can, frankly.

Rainy Saturdays are for shit films & great beer & this is definitely holding up its part of the bargain. Super sweet cake stout, could do with a bit more coffee for my liking but it's damn tasty stuff. Goes well with Liam Neeson blowing shit up.

Week 1 of new job done, not fired yet so calling that a success. Starting the weekend with one of those "IPA plus a fruit" that everyone loves making these days. This straddles the fruity/hoppy line well – neither overpowers the other & it all works OK.
