Not usually a fan of brown ales, but this ones an absolute belter. Nutty and herbal aroma with a hint of something minty, that reveals itself further in the dry and earthy taste. Malt body is more of a subdued and biscuity element than anything else.

I liked this beer but it wasn’t what I was expecting. The name led me to think it would be a zesty nose-full of lime, but it reminded me more of hops and rosewater. So much so it brought Turkish delight to mind. Nice body to pair well with a meal.

#blindtastechallenge: cocoa nib & coffee aroma alerted me to a dark offering here, and I guessed American Porter by the sheer bitterness, and lack of stout body. It was far too bitter and astringent to be called anything else. Lots of earthy hoppiness too
