Weller Bourbon Munro (2021) by Barreled Souls Brewing Company

Bottle Bottle

Loved this. Brown sugar, dark fruit/raisin, toffee, vanilla, and bourbon. The smooth Weller barrel imparts some nice bourbon heat, but some vanilla and fruit character. Some sweetness balanced by the heat but everything in balance. This was rad.

LC. Loved this. Concentrated/ intense baked apple, honey, caramel, vanilla/oak. Sweet and almost syrupy, the flavors grew as this warmed. Also some climbing acidity here too. Delicious and would be amazing paired with Cabot Clothbound!

LC. Along with the Citra/Galaxy version, these are the best DIPAs I’ve had from Tree House in a long time. Reminiscent of old school TH, that classic melon, citrus, and tropical fruit is really awesome here. Best use of Citra I’ve had in a while too.

Passion by Tree House Brewing Company

LC. Not bad. I think the passion fruit goes well here with the malty caramel tropical sweetness of the beer. I think it blends pretty well with citrus too. Interesting combo.

LC. Thought this was solid. Crisp malt/grain character with some citrus and tropical fruit. More malt/grain forward than their pales. Nice change.
