Victory is one of my favorite breweries, but this one is a little - too - fruity and doesn't have great balance. It's just sweet through and through with a well-hiddened ABV bite, but not a whole lot going on beyond that, that I can tell.

The label says this once great "remastered" beer is now "easier drinking," which must be code for bland and muted, because while it's certainly smooth, it has lost its character, I'm sorry to say.

As I often do with new songs, if I don't like a beer the first time, I'll try it again to see if I missed something. But with this IPA, it doesn't grab me at all. I can't point to any distinct flavor profile or uniqueness to it. It's just kind of there :/

Pours up a hazy pale orange. Pretty strong fruits notes, although not as strong as Juicy Monkey. Hazer strikes me as kind of middle of the road. It's good, but I'm missing something that sets it apart from Victory's other offerings or other hazy brews.
