David Cordes is drinking a Tynt Meadow by Mount Saint Bernard Abbey at Untappd at Home
Malty nose, hint of honey. Nice rich mixed malt base, a hint of sweetness coming through. Some gently fruity notes. Thins a little at the end, nicely drinkable though.

Nose generally fruity. Peach identifiable in the mouth, strawb only noticeable late. Still a decent balance, not standing out though.
David Cordes is drinking a Barrel Wave 2021 by Wold Top Brewery at Untappd at Home
Note: 2023 version. Nose is caramel and toasty, hint of whisky. Hint of toast into lots of toffee and caramel. Powerful whisky/barrel influence running through it. Nice bitter finish. Whisky note a hint too strong for the rest of the beer, tasty though!

Sour and mixed fruity nose. Mixed fruit in the mouth - pineapple and various citrus identifiable. Subtle hint of almond and vanilla. Underlying sour, with a hint of funk. Tasty and well put together, although it doesn’t give a strong mai tai impression.

Classic pina colada nose - coconut and pineapple. Same in the mouth, coconut dominant. Hint sweet - could maybe have used a bit more tart (lime? Dryer cider base?) to balance. Silly but tasty!
