Craig S: Excellent use of barrel aging to add flavor!

A soft hand pull looking head. Not much smell and a lighter mouthfeel. Roasty upfront with the piney hops kicking in back. And nice blend of those flavors in finish. The smooth carbonation and lighter mouthfeel actually work to its advantage.

Decent lacing for an imperial stout. Deep wood and Carmel smells with the chocolatey imperial stout nose. Nice slick mouthfeel. More nice barrel notes that seem to add a nice hint of vanilla and caramel into a nice chocolate and booze finish.

Nice lacing for an imperial stout. Some citrus in the hoppy imp stout nose. The limoncello picks up in taste and comes across odd. But the lingering limoncello finish against the stout is sort of nice. A little disjointed.

Craig S: I like regular darkness, and I just find these adjuncts distracting and take away from a great base beer.

A sort of odd taste that is like a soft Fernet. Similar taste upfront with the cola hitting mid palette but not of the flavor intermingling well. Pine hops flavor around into a medicinal lingering finish. Very odd and doesn’t balance.

Nice thick hazy look with a sharp peach color. Interesting smell with notes of pear and dank rind. Similar taste with nice dankness with the fuzzy peachy hops. Dank hazy finish. Super interesting and different hop flavors.
